Izvestia informs that Finance Minister Anton Siluanov said that the decision to merge the National Welfare Fund (NWF) and the Reserve Fund will be taken in the spring session of the parliament until the end of July.

Siluanov told reporters: "For better manageability, a decision was made to pool the fund. We propose to do this on the basis of the National Welfare Fund, which, on the one hand, serves both as a source for the stable operation of the pension system, the Pension Fund, and for investing in infrastructure projects ".

The minister specified that the task of pooling funds was put by the Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev.
