Medvedev instructed to submit proposals on the program of housing and utilities modernization

The official website of the Cabinet of Ministers informs that Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev instructed to submit proposals on the program of housing and utilities modernization. The head of the government gave such instructions on the basis of the discussion in the State Duma of the report on the results of the cabinet's work in 2016.

The list of instructions says: "The Ministry of Construction of Russia, the Ministry of Finance of Russia, the Ministry of Economic Development of Russia, the Ministry of Energy of Russia, the Federal Antimonopoly Service of Russia, submit to the Government of the Russian Federation agreed proposals on the need to develop a program document aimed at modernizing the housing and communal services".



In addition, some agencies should prepare together with the regions proposals aimed at resolving the situation related to the construction of buildings, non-residential premises in which they are used for permanent residence of citizens.

The head of the Cabinet of Ministers also instructed to analyze the implementation of the program of assistance to certain categories of borrowers for mortgage housing loans (loans) that found themselves in a difficult financial situation and submit proposals to the government for its further implementation, if necessary, with a draft regulatory legal act.
