The Chinese manufacturer OPPO seems to be working on an innovative smartphone with a folding screen, which has narrow frames.. Here's how to check out the remaining threads of information from your favorite tech blogger.
Innovative design.
According to the information, the engineering design of the OPPO model with a folding screen is in the standard 16:9 format. The key feature is the LIPO design with extremely narrow frames around the screen, which, according to previous estimates, are close to 1 mm on all four sides. You can allow standard 16:9 aspect ratio video content to fill the entire screen, providing more visual clutter.
The width of the screen itself is estimated at approximately 81 mm. However, the blogger notes that after the remaining folding, the body can be a little wider, but it is unlikely to exceed 85 mm. It’s worth mentioning that OPPO is committed to creating the most compact device possible, regardless of the folding form factor..
Premium positioning.
Dzherelo also emphasizes that this device will be located in the flagship product line of the company, which automatically means its high quality. OPPO, as from now on, is committed to introducing its customers to advanced technologies and exclusive design, which is reflected in the price.
Competition in the market.
Tsikavo, that same blogger guessed about competitors. It turns out that another Chinese giant, Vivo, is also seeing similar developments, but its progress is not so fast yet.
To modernize the presentation, the Huawei Pura X View smartphone, which also has a folding screen, is equipped with a 6.39-inch panel with a separate part 2232? 1320 pixels (16:9 aspect ratio). 5). Its frame is also narrow - 1.05 mm on all sides, which ensures a screen area of \u200b\u200bup to 96.1% of the front panel area. The width of the case attached to Huawei is 87 mm.
Although details of the specific technologies and functions of the upcoming OPPO smartphone are still kept secret, there is evidence that the company is actively working on innovations in the field of foldable devices. Extremely narrow frames and standardly aligned sides of the screen can become the key advantages of the new model, which will likely set a new bar for the entire eyelid.
