Due to the deteriorating security situation, Ukrzaliznytsia will exclude two trains from the schedule: No. 31/32 Zaporozhye-Przemysl and No. 79/80 Dnepr-Lviv. The company explained this decision by the reduction in passenger traffic on these routes.. Trains will stop running from October 20.

Ukrzaliznytsia recalled that trains will continue to run in the direction of Zaporozhye and Dnieper: No. 39/40, 5/6, 3/4, 85/86, 41/42, 61/62, 261/262 and 127/12. And with a transfer in Kyiv or Lvov you can get to Przemysl.

In the morning, Russia attacked the Kyiv-Nikolaev train.

Also, from October 1, 2026, Ukrzaliznytsia cancels the movement of passenger trains " Passengers will be able to get to Konotop.

Let us recall that in the summer of 2026, Russian troops intensified attacks on the Ukrainian railway. Passenger trains were hit in August. On August 8, a Russian drone attacked the locomotive of the Sumy - Kyiv train - railway workers managed to evacuate people in a timely manner, but one of the cars was damaged. On September 8, Russians attacked Ukrzaliznytsia trains three times in the morning in the Sumy and Zaporozhye regions.

The current changes to the Ukrzaliznytsia timetable are part of a wider practice of adapting railway services to the security situation. The company has already limited certain routes, transferred flights to combined routes and introduced a special traffic regime in regions with increased threat.
