Behind the plan of Kerivnitstva, Zirkze can complement the attack of the team, which already includes the Portuguese Goncalo Ramos and the young Vihovanets of the club Francesco Camarda.
Before moving to England, Zirkze has obtained a valid certificate from Serie A. In the 2023/2024 season, he became the key leader of the Bologna attack, with 12 goals and 7 assists in 37 matches in all tournaments. During the current season, Joshua continues to complete his playing practice both at the club and international levels, which is important for his final years. Zirkze is actively training before the matches of the UEFA National League 2026-2027. The striker replaced the injured Brobbey from the Dutch national team.
He confirmed his effectiveness on June 4, 2026, when he was on the field and scored a goal against the Serbian team. The match ended with the Netherlands winning 2:1.
