Head coach of the French national team Zinedine Zidane commented on the victory over Belgium with a 4:1 result in the fourth round of the Nations League. The French captain appreciates that his team deserved a positive result in the entire match.
" In the first half we started to get good, but we didn’t have enough speed in the remaining third of the field.
I think, if you marvel at all 90 minutes of the match, the victory was deserved, and our game in the other half was really good,” Zidan said.
The mentor also took into account the psychological readiness of his students and the atmosphere in the middle of the team. After four rounds, France scored 10 points, which allows them to successfully lead the group.
“Everything is turning out very positively. Those we earned - 10 points - were the result of the mentality and work carried out with the Gravians. This group of football players gets along really well with each other. It’s a miracle to work with her, and this is a very positive moment for us,” Zidan summed up.
