Manchester United are showing serious interest in David Raum, for whom Juventus is also fighting. The 28-year-old German defender plays for RB Leipzig and has a contract with the club until the summer of 2027, through which this May already earns the respect of European giants.
According to Gazzetta dello Sport, Manchester United itself may become Juventus's main competitor in the fight for Rauma. The English club has already acquired a football player during the summer transfer window, having decided to add strength to the left flank of defense. The transfer did not take place, but the interest of the Mancunians was preserved until the Germans.
Juventus, on their side, views Rauma as one of the options to strengthen the position of the left back. The Turin club has already begun to monitor the situation with the footballer and can try to negotiate a transfer with him immediately before the completion of his contract with Leipzig.
In this case, Leipzig does not want to waste its captain costlessly. The club confirmed its intention to continue to agree with Rauma, but negotiations for a new contract have not yet led to a residual home ownership. If the parties do not find a compromise, from now 2027 the footballer will be able to negotiate and sign in advance with another club.
