Lille star Ethan Mbappe has been suspended for three Champions League matches for the first round match against Betis.
The 19-Rich Frenchman took off the straight red card after waving his hand at the Spanish team's defender Nathan and incriminating him. The Brazilian went up to the back and touched his shoulder, after which the Lille football player made a sharp move with his hand.
The head referee of the team, Georgiy Kabakov, watched the video replay of the episode and praised the decision to remove Mbappe from the field.
UEFA took a closer look at the incident and gave the French player a three-match disqualification. Through this, Ethan Mbappe will not be able to help Lille in the Champions League matches against Arsenal, Galatasaray and Bode-Glimt.
