Chelsea striker Joao Pedro will not help the Brazil team due to injury during the upcoming international break.

The 24-year-old football player will take part in the friendly matches of the national team, but will be deprived of any interference.

The Brazilian Football Confederation has confirmed that Joao Pedro will not be able to play in the scheduled matches. Deputy head coach Carlo Ancelotti called in retired Fluminense Martinelli.

Joao Pedro missed Chelsea's training session against Tuesday. However, the London club has not yet announced that the forward will be able to take part in the upcoming Premier League match against Brentford, which will take place on Friday.

Between the current international break, Brazil will play friendly matches against Australia and India.
