Fragments of a workbook by the legendary Ukrainian performer Andrey Kuzmenko, better known to the public as Kuzma Scriabin, have appeared online. The celebrity’s personal notebook lifted the curtain on the process of creating his hits, which at first appeared in the author’s head far from the form in which we are used to hearing them now.

Footage of drafts of Scriabin's compositions was published on the Instagram page of a documentary film about the artist. Unique photographs shed light on the process of writing the tracks “Old Photographs”, “People Like Ships”, “Champagne Eyes”, “Mest of Happy People” and “Minibus”.

The photographs of the notebook show that Kuzma Scriabin changed the beginning of the first verse of the legendary song “Old Photographs” many times until he brought it to perfection. The main idea of \u200b\u200bthe text remained unchanged, but the performer rewrote the wording several times. This is clearly seen in the line: “We had absolutely everything the same, we didn’t care about anything at all,” which the celebrity first wrote down as follows: “We had absolutely everything the same, we didn’t miss anything and didn’t care about everything.”.

A similar situation arose during the creation of the hits “People Like Ships” and “Champagne Eyes”.

But Scriabin changed the chorus of the track “The Place of Happy People” radically. In the draft composition, many lines were crossed out, and between the chaotic pen lines you can see a mention of Oslo, which was not included in the final version.

It seems that according to the original plan, the beloved track “Marshrutka” should have had completely different lyrics.
