Ukrainians planning to travel abroad will find it easier to enter the European Union (EU) via Romania thanks to the opening of an additional route for tourist buses. The Dyakovtsi – Rakovets checkpoint will operate according to new rules throughout the summer.
This was reported by the State Border Service. They reminded that before passing, drivers must register in the “Є-cherga” system and arrive at the checkpoint at the appointed time.
" Since the Ukrainian-Romanian border remains the most popular destination, we agreed with the Romanian side on the temporary passage of buses of any size through the Dyakovtsi-Rakovets checkpoint,” border guards noted.
In addition, on the Ukrainian-Romanian border, the first stage of modernization of the cargo terminal at the Porubnoye - Siret checkpoint is being completed.. Upon completion of the work, its throughput will increase.

In general, the reconstruction provides for the construction of four additional lanes for the entry of freight transport into Ukraine, the arrangement of an organized waiting area and the introduction of modern customs and control technologies.
