German Borussia officially announced the signing of a contract with the right-hand man of Donetsk Shakhtar Yukhim Konopleya. The 26-year-old footballer joins the team as a free agent before the start of the 2026/27 season and, having signed the agreement, is insured until the 30th of June 2029.

The club has identified the gaming advantages of a newcomer and his evidence of performances at a high level.

Hemp himself shared his emotions about the transition and noted that he is looking forward to the new stage of his career with impatience.

" This is a great club with a rich history and incredible fans. I can't describe what I feel right now. It will take a few days before you get the hang of it. “But I definitely want to enjoy my time with Borussia,” said the footballer.

Hemp is a member of the Shakhtar Academy. Previously, he also played for Desna on loan, playing 49 matches, after which he turned to the Donetsk club and became the main player.

The Shakhtar warehouse has hosted 114 official matches in all tournaments, winning three Ukrainian Championship titles (2023, 2024, 2026), two Ukrainian Cups (2024, 2025) and the Ukrainian Super Cup.

For the national team of Ukraine Hemp made its debut in early 2020 and has already played 27 matches and 2 goals scored. Also the champion of the world U-20 at the warehouse of the youth team of Ukraine.
