President of the Ukrainian Football Association Andriy Shevchenko announced that the first training camp of the national team under the leadership of Andrea Malderi will be held in Ukraine.
He stated about this during the press conference dedicated to the appointment of the new head coach:.
“Our plans are very important to work in such a way that patients are more likely to be in Ukraine.
Therefore, the first training camp that we plan to conduct under the supervision of the head coach will take place in Ukraine. And we will marvel at our capabilities in order to make more of such collections. There will be more promotions for our fans to bring the team even closer to the fans,” Shevchenko said.
One foreign specialist will leave the Malderi headquarters - the Italian Pasquale Catalano. Also joining the coaching staff are two ex-football players of the national team of Ukraine - Volodymyr Yezersky and Taras Stepanenko.
Apparently, Andrea Maldera voted in advance for the Ukrainian national team’s bid for the friendly matches against Poland and Denmark.
