Today, May 16th, the third matches of the semi-final series of the Futsal Extra League of Ukraine took place, which determined the finals of the 2025/26 season.

Capital HIT, in its series, beat Sokil with a score of 3:0, having won three matches (3:1, 5:2, 4:3) - with which the remaining victory was snatched in overtime.

In the other semi-final with a similar result 3:0 Athletic Futsal was the strongest for Sukha Balka, having won all three matches (3:1, 5:1, 5:3).

In this manner, the capital's HIT and Dnipro Athletic will play for the championship title of the Extra League..

For XIT there is a chance for a fourth championship after successes in the 2022/23, 2023/24 and 2024/25 seasons. This will be Athletic's debut Extra League final.

The matches of the final series will start in two days, as well as the fights for the third place between Sokol and Sukha Balka.
