Italian director Andrea Masiello announced the completion of his professional career for 40 years. Journalist Nikolo Skira reported this.

The veteran's remaining club was Sudtirol from Serie B, for which he played in 2022. In advance, the team may play playoff matches to save a place in another division of Italy, but Masiello, having decided to end his career, will not take part in the fights against Bari.
