TV presenter Andrei Bednyakov explained why he could not find a common language with Oksana Marchenko, who left for Russia after the outbreak of a full-scale war, while working on “X-Factor,” and also explained why he was going to leave the project after one season of work. According to him, the key problem was the complete lack of contact between them on camera and behind the scenes.. Bednyakov admitted in an interview with Rozmov that getting on the show was an important goal for him, because he had long wanted to work on live broadcasts and considered The X Factor as a top television format in prime time. At the same time, he noted that he always chose projects not because of fees, but because of his own interest in the work. However, expectations from participation in the show were not fully met.

Speaking about cooperation with Marchenko, the presenter noted that there was “no chemistry” between them. According to him, she kept her distance and tried to emphasize her main role in the project. " There was no chemistry, unfortunately. She didn't let me in. She tried to show that she was in charge here, and “who are you, the boy who came here,” said Bednyakov.

This, according to him, was most clearly evident during the first live broadcast.. Bednyakov tried to joke and interact with the co-host, but did not receive any reaction in response. The presenter compared this feeling to hitting “the wall,” when any remark remained without emotional impact.

" I joked, but there was no return. Like hitting a wall. And then, after the first broadcast, they said: “Probably, Andryusha, we will transfer you to the green room, but don’t worry, from the next season you will be alone, and the whole stage will be yours,” the presenter recalled.

It was this moment, according to him, that became one of the signals that the work was not going as he expected. Let us note that Bednyakov worked in “X-Factor” for only three seasons – from 7 to 9. In particular, the showman recalled the story of his departure from the project. He stated that much later he heard the version that it was he who was fired, although, according to the presenter himself, the decision was voluntary.

“I found out later: they (representatives of “X-Factor”. – Ed. ) they said that it was they who fired me, and not me who left. It was a surprise for me. I wanted to host “The X Factor” because I wanted live broadcasts. And it was a top show that aired on prime time,” noted Andrei Bednyakov and named the reason for leaving the show: “I want to enjoy the process that is going on. And when I stopped enjoying the process that was going on, I said that this would be my last season"

It is worth noting that Bednyakov made similar statements about the traitor Oksana Marchenko three years ago. In an interview with Pressing, he also named Marchenko as the presenter with whom it was most difficult for him to work. Then the showman said that he was a “bone in her throat” for her, and her attitude boiled down to the message: “who are you, you are not on my level”.

At the same time, back in 2016, during the release of the seventh season of “The X Factor,” completely different statements were made on the official STB page. Then Bednyakov publicly said that he was “working better and better every minute” with Marchenko, and also jokingly talked about her advice during the broadcast.

“Today is the first time we have directly collided on the site. Before this we worked separately. We are doing better and better every minute.. We can even tease each other. This makes me happy,” he said then.
