The head of the Servant of the People party, Elena Shulyak, believes that one of the key contours of the new state framework is the need to rethink the role of both parliament and parties. She spoke about this during an interview with a ZN journalist.. UA Inna Vedernikova.

" Unfortunately, only the war made us categorically disloyal to the presence in the political field and in the parliament of the same HLE. And we have to legislate this position. Secondly, about the transformation of parties into a kind of interface that would connect the people and the government. Ideas useful for the development of the state, which are produced at the very bottom, through political forces (coming to the legislative / executive branch) should be implemented, - she explained. - During the two months of the war, we received more than three thousand requests on the ground. And at every level of the party, we do everything to support it, promote it, comply with it."

She noted that in the traditional ideological coordinates, the “servants” adhere to the radical-centrist position, which was again set by Zelensky back in 2019.. This is active centrism, which is not a compromise between right and left ideologies, but mobilizes the energy of society for positive changes..
