Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said that in case of tough Washington policy, Ankara will have to look for new allies. According to him, the actions of Americans in the political arena only undermine the interests and security of the United States and force other countries to renounce friendship with the White House. "It's not too late, Washington should abandon its erroneous idea that our relations can be asymmetric, and reconcile with the fact that Turkey has alternatives," Erdogan quotes The New York Times. Recall that the United States imposed sanctions against the Minister of Justice and the Minister of Internal Affairs of Turkey because of the arrest of US pastor Andrew Branson.
