The lower house of parliament and the government of the Russian Federation were able to build constructive work and overcome many problems. This was stated by State Duma Speaker Vyacheslav Volodin during the meeting of Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev with the deputies of the faction "United Russia". Chairman of the State Duma of the VII convocation especially noted the role of the head of the Cabinet in the correction of the difficult situation, which in due course the relations between the parliament and government. "The existing practice - either lack of dialogue or support of draft laws without discussion - prevented us from developing relations built on observance of norms and rules of public discussions that preceded the adoption of laws," said Volodin. Now the branches of power managed to establish a constructive dialogue. It was not easy, the speaker admitted.. "Without the personal support of the prime minister, we could not build this dialogue, synchronize the regulations of the State Duma with government regulations," he stressed.. Medvedev himself absolutely agrees with this. "The State Duma and the government in terms of interaction reached a fundamentally new level, they learned to hear each other's arguments, despite the disparity of positions on some issues," he said.. However, this is not just a normal situation - this is the only correct option: "It would be worse if all initiatives received unanimous approval. This would mean that there is no dialogue, discussion, expertise. But, on the other hand, on the key issues that unite our entire country, are the most important for the development of our state, we, together with the deputies of the "United Russia" faction, always showed absolute unanimity, "Medvedev said.. The head of government reminded deputies about a large number of bills that were made in due time in the State Duma, but for various reasons they were not considered. Work on them should be carried to the end, he urged, agreeing that a number of documents have already lost relevance. "It is not necessary to drag behind a lawmaking carton from bills that have lost relevance or are replaced by more recent, modern, better-worked," - leads BakuToday the words of Medvedev. The Prime Minister holds meetings with the Duma factions on the eve of the annual report on the work of the government, scheduled for April 11.

So, on March 28, he communicated with representatives of the LDPR, April 2 - with the Communist Party faction, April 4, a meeting with members of the "Fair Russia", on Friday, April 6, he held preliminary consultations with United Russia. The prime minister warned parliamentarians that they would be patient on the day of the report - the conversation will be long.

After the report, Medvedev promised to answer all the questions that legislators have for the government and its head personally.
