Rada has amended the law on the status of veterans. The Verkhovna Rada made amendments to the law "On the Status of War Veterans, Guarantees of Their Social Protection" on the second attempt, which grants the status of combatants to the victims during the Revolution of Virtue. For the relevant amendments voted 241 MP, reports Today. The law grants the right to receive the status of a participant in hostilities to persons who received bodily injuries (severe, moderate, light) that did not lead to disability, during participation in the Revolution of Dignity. This norm does not apply to police officers, servicemen of internal troops and other security forces.

The status of a war invalid was also determined for citizens who became disabled due to injuries or other health problems from explosions in the territory where state authorities exercise their powers and settlements located on the contact line during the antiterrorist operation. In particular, the law provides privileges. Financial calculations can be determined after calculating the number of people eligible for benefits. Recall, six injured activist told how they shot at Maidan.
