German magazine Spiegel reports that in the ranks of the Azov national battalion more and more mercenaries from European countries, especially from Germany. According to the publication, Ukrainian extremists attract their Western like-minded people, handing out flyers on various neo-Nazi gatherings, where they call for "saving Europe from extinction". The purpose of such recruitment is "to conquer Europe anew". "Azovians" attract, among other things, the German neo-Nazis among the youth, writes Spiegel. "The advertising campaign" of Ukrainian radicals led to success, the author states: since 2014, when the "extremist volunteer battalion" began to fight in the zone of the armed conflict in Donbass, the number of its participants has increased from 850 people to the current 2500. The publication refers to the report of the German state security organs. Journalist Spiegel reports that now in social networks, there are more and more photos of German neo-Nazis who proudly show their belonging to Azov,. It is noted that in July this year the "Azovtsi" managed to attract radicals to the action at the Rechtsrock festival in the German city of Temar. This event was attended by about 6 thousand ultra-right followers. The soldiers of "Azov" distributed leaflets to the audience, in which they invited "to join the ranks of the best".
