The compulsory motor vehicle liability insurance policy for owners of land vehicles (autocitizen) has become free for Ukrainian veterans. From now on they will be able to receive compensation for its cost in Dii.

As reported in Dii, now 50% of the cost of the vehicle will be compensated by the insurance company, and the other half by the state. At the same time, the benefit will apply to policies issued during 2025.

In addition, the car must be owned by the person entitled to the benefit and used exclusively by the benefit recipient or another person with the same status, and the compensation itself is valid for only one car. Violation of the conditions, as well as providing false information, will lead to loss of the right to compensation in the future.

The discount will be valid from 2025 during martial law and for another year after its end, and for persons with disabilities due to war, the discount will be valid permanently.
