Starting from April, the allowed speed limit will be increased in the capital - on a number of roads it will be possible to drive only at a speed of 80 km/h. This is reported by the press center of the KSCA with a link to the Department of Transport Infrastructure.

Recall that last year the speed limit of 80 km/h was not introduced in Kyiv due to martial law, but now the Kyiv City State Administration considers the changes expedient.

It is noted that on the roads of streets where the speed limit is 80 km/h, high-quality asphalt, as well as chippers and underpasses. The streets themselves were selected by a commission from representatives of the Department of Transport Infrastructure of the Kyiv City State Administration, the Patrol Police, Kyivavtodor, Kyivpastrans and the Traffic Management Center.
