Despite all the difficulties caused by Russia's military aggression, the increase in pensions in 2022 is going according to plan. Of the five planned stages, three have already been completed.

The last increase in pensions took place on July 1. Then the minimum pension increased by 93 hryvnia and amounted to 2027 hryvnia. The rise was caused by an increase in the subsistence minimum for disabled persons.

The next planned increase is scheduled for October 1, so you should not expect an increase in pensions from September 1.

From October 1, 2022, the minimum pension payment will increase for unemployed persons over 65 years of age and with insurance experience - men at least 35 years, women - at least 30 years. It will be 2680 UAH.

It is also planned to establish a monthly compensation payment in the amount of UAH 300 to persons aged 70 to 75 years..

From December 1, 2022, the minimum pension will increase to UAH 2093. In the same month, it is planned to establish a minimum pension of UAH 2,500 for non-working pensioners aged 60-70 with sufficient length of service (30 years for women, 35 for men).

Previously, we reported how war-affected retirees can apply for financial assistance from the UN.
