In this situation, sugar producers are worried if the ban on sugar exports will be returned.. After all, despite the fact that the government of Ukraine, for its part, lifted the ban on sugar exports, import quotas in the EU and the UK were canceled only for a year.

But even despite this, for the period May-June 2022, only 11.8 thousand. tons of sugar, and in total for the 2021/22 marketing year, 42 thousand. tons of sugar, which is 6.7% of the balance in the domestic market. (626 thousand. t).

This is relatively good news for consumers in Ukraine. Ukrainians in 2022-2023. will not only be with inexpensive sugar, but also with its remainder: stocks may be enough even for subsequent years.
