The Ministry of Agrarian Policy reports that today there is no shortage of vegetables and fruits in Ukraine, despite the temporary occupation of the southern regions of the country.
As the director of the department of agricultural development of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy Igor Vishtak predicts, the harvest of vegetables in 5 central regions, which are the largest producers of vegetables, will amount to 34.22% of the harvest from all over Ukraine.
According to him, Ukrainians may temporarily experience a shortage of early vegetables, however, as these crops ripen in central, western, northern Ukraine and Ukrainian greenhouses with a delay of two to three weeks, this issue will be resolved..
" In this regard, Vinnitsa, Chernivtsi, Khmelnytsky, Dnepropetrovsk, Lviv and Poltava regions, the largest producers of fruits and berries, will be able to meet the needs of the citizens of our country,” Vishtak said..
