It is reported that the purchasing power of the local population has fallen by half. Last year, the Ministry of Finance forecasted a maximum inflation rate of 14 percent, at that time it was 13 percent. Neighboring Lugansk region also suffers from an increase in inflation indicators - 11 percent.

In second place - Rivne region. In 2017, the inflation rate in this region was 15%.

At the same time, experts note a rise in the level of consumer inflation by one and a half percent since the beginning of 2018. Fruit and vegetables are the fastest growing.

Thus, the growth rate of salaries in the country simply does not keep up with the growth of consumer prices, while the social standards that the government is compelled to constantly review.

As reported in "Ura-Inform", the National Bank of Ukraine worsened the inflation forecast for 2018 from 7.3 percent to 8.9 percent.
