European experience on reducing the working week while maintaining the level of income in Russia will not be adopted for long. Because Russians work extremely inefficiently. The productivity of labor in the world is measured by the cost of products produced by an employee per hour. So in Russia this figure is only 6.02 dollars. For comparison: in Luxembourg for man-hour produced products worth 83.44 dollars; in Norway, Switzerland, Denmark, Iceland - by $ 40 or more, leads the RIA Novosti news agency. Even Poland and Hungary overtake Russia in productivity, where the figure is 7.2 and 7.9, respectively. However, this is not because the Russians are lazy. Rather, on the contrary: our country is among the five most industrious along with Greece, South Korea, Costa Rica and Mexico. On average, every working citizen in the Russian Federation spends 38 hours a week on production, and this, taking into account all holidays and holidays. The trouble is that labor productivity depends on infrastructure, new technologies, the level of education, the quality of management. It's no secret that here we have a lot of limp. That's why the Russians at work under the Labor Code for 40 hours a week for copecks, and for a long time will remain in this mode. But the goal is. For example, the union in Germany in 1984. has reduced the working week to 35 hours. Now the German workers have new demands: to allow 28 hours a week to work for those who take care of children, sick or elderly relatives.

This is despite the fact that the Germans already work least of all:.

on average for the year they go 26 hours a week. At the same time, their economy is doing well, even if not perfectly. By the way, all economically developed countries in Europe allow citizens to rest more. In Denmark, Norway, the Netherlands, France, Luxembourg, Austria, Sweden, 27-31-hour workweek. It turns out all is simple: first you need to raise the economy, and only then lie on the couch. Is this really for us? Question.
