The National Commission, which regulates energy and utilities, took an appropriate decision during the meeting on December 28. Thus, according to the resolution, the tariff increase was approved for "Kharkivvodokanal" from January 1, here water will cost 8.38 hryvnia per cubic meter, and water disposal - 4.36 hryvnia per cubic meter.

For "Dneprovodokanal" water supply rate is set at 6.47 hryvnia per cubic meter and water disposal - 4.25 hryvnia per cubic meter. Tariff for water for Lvivodokanal will be 7.09 hryvnia and drainage - 3.

62 hryvnia per cubic meter.

At the same time, the NKREC explained that the reason for the increase in tariffs was, in particular, the change in labor costs and the cost of electricity.

Recall, as reported URA-Inform, Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine Pavel Rozenko said that in Ukraine today there are no grounds for the growth of tariffs for housing and communal services and gas. The price of gas is fixed in the draft state budget of Ukraine for 2018.
