So, the total amount of investments from the European Union to the British banks was more than 17 percent of the total amount of money. Thus, European banks intend to protect their assets in the event that the process of leaving London from the EU slows down. Banks from 27 states of the block have reduced investments in their assets related to the United Kingdom. At the moment, this amount has fallen from two trillion euros to one and a half billion.

As reported in URA-Inform, Britain will leave all structures of the European Union within 20 months.
