Private agricultural enterprise "Piskivske", which deals with dairy cattle breeding, switched from natural gas to straw and monthly saves 60 thousand hryvnia.

The leading Ukrainian farm, which is part of the Association of Milk Producers (APM), has found an alternative to blue fuel three years ago, according to milkua. Info.

In a pyrolysis boiler with a height of a two-story house, bales of straw are heated to heat water. As a result, the company reduced electricity bills by providing a warm farm and outbuildings.

The head of Piskivske CZP, Valery Kalosha, plans in the future to expand the use of alternative energy sources by installing solar panels and a biogas plant for the utilization of manure.
