Burka also stressed that in 2016, Ukraine exported 15.2 thousand. Tons worth $ 30 million. At the same time, in the first half of 2015, the export of this product was at the level of 13,400. Tons worth $ 32.8 million.

Among the largest buyers - the US (18.9 million dollars), Germany (10 million dollars) and Poland (5.6 million dollars).

We note that the US continues to lead among the countries that buy Ukrainian honey and this trend will continue.

As against the background of growing consumer demand, the US is only 30% provided with its own production and more than 70% due to imports.

In addition, for the US market, a characteristic increase in the consumption of honey by the population and the interest of consumers to honey with different flavors is increasing: honey with fire peppers.

Recall, as previously reported, "URA-Inform, Ukraine last year exported wine at $ 24.7 million, which is three times less than in 2013.
