This was announced by the Ambassador of Ukraine in Canada, Andriy Shevchenko.
According to him, Canada has made its gift to us by the day of the Constitution. In particular, the Ukrainian state received a government note on the completion of all internal procedures for the entry into force of the Free Trade Agreement.
As a result, this agreement will cancel 98% of tariffs for Ukrainian goods exported to Canada.
In addition, 72% of tariffs are immediately canceled for Canadian goods, and within 7 years duty-free exports will increase to 98%.
Also, the corresponding document opens public procurement markets, and certain sections of the agreement protect electronic commerce and intellectual property.
Recall, as previously reported, "URA-Inform, in our country retail trade volumes already amount to more than 298 billion hryvnia. Thus - from January to May the turnover of retail trade in the country, not taking into account the data on the Crimea, as well as part of the territories of Donbass and the Ukraine.
