Vice Prime Minister Pavel Rozenko states that the payment to citizens for the saved housing subsidies will be made before September 1.

Rozenko noted that the heat and energy companies and oblgases are obliged to transfer to the social protection departments of the population until June 1 a list of families that have saved subsidies, after which the information will be checked, then a list will be generated for payment of the monetized balance of the subsidy in the amount of up to 700 UAH (equivalent to 100 cubic meters of gas ).

The Vice Prime Minister said that the payment will be made either in banks or in the offices of "Ukrposhta".

In his estimation, this program can cost the state in 1.5-1.8 billion UAH.

Rosenko also stressed that these funds were provided for in the state budget to pay subsidies and would simply be cashed.

If the project is successful, then in 2018, according to him, the monetization of subsidies will be expanded.
