People with group III disabilities in Ukraine can receive a minimum pension of almost 10 thousand hryvnia. The specific amount depends on several factors: the reason for determining disability, the presence of insurance coverage, and also whether the person works. The highest guaranteed payments are for military personnel with disability group III.

Any disability pension is calculated as a percentage of the age pension. For persons with group III disabilities - this is 50% of the age pension due to a specific recipient.

Ukraine has also established minimum guarantees for such payments.. The indicator is tied to the cost of living.

.

Thus, working persons with group III disabilities cannot receive a pension of less than UAH 3,328. Not working – 2,595 UAH.

Separate rules apply for military personnel. The amount of the pension depends on the circumstances under which the disability was acquired:.

At the same time, the state guarantees a minimum level of pensions for persons with disabilities due to war. For group III, such payment cannot be less than 9,478 hryvnia.
