The government revised the conditions for the provision of basic social assistance to low -income Ukrainians. Now children in large families will be able to not receive a payment, and helping the family can be distributed between its adult members.

The relevant changes are spelled out in Decree No. 986, which the Cabinet of Ministers adopted on August 13.
