The transition of the project Everipedia ("Encyclopedia of Everything") to the blockbuster will allow researchers from around the world to access the largest source of information, even if their governments at the legislative level try to ban this resource, informs Next Web. Co-founder of Wikipedia Larry Sanger announced that he is going to translate the resource Everipedia on the blockroom. This will help make the encyclopedia accessible to people around the world, because the platform on the blockbuster can not be censored or banned in a single country (as it is now happening in Turkey). "We want to create something more than Wikipedia. To do this, we will make Everipedia decentralized and release tokens called IQ, "said Everipedia CEO Theodor Forselius. IQ will become the internal currency of the encyclopedia, which users will receive for writing or updating articles. This will be a way to encourage participants and their further motivation to cooperate with the platform. If someone wants to edit an article in Everipedia, he will have to pay IQ. But in case the community agrees with the revisions, tokens will be returned to him. The system of tokens will allow to provide the constant financing of the encyclopedia by millions of people from all over the world, deducing Everipedia to a fundamentally new level of scientific knowledge. "The electronic encyclopaedia will not be 5, but 100 million articles, including those that today can only be found in libraries or specialized journals," Sanger believes.. Everipedia is the largest online encyclopedia in the English-speaking world, in part because it uses the resources of Wikipedia, which, in turn, is based on the British Encyclopedia.

The project's founders want academicians and researchers around the world to gain access to this knowledge, even if their governments decide to ban the resource on political or religious grounds. In addition, the decentralized network will not require hosting fees, which means that the encyclopedia will not have to attract sponsors and advertisers to maintain its content.
