In the Podolsky district of Kyiv there was a fire in a multi -storey building. During the extinguishing of fire, the fighters of the State Emergencies Ministry saved the spouses and their dog.

This was reported in the press service of the State Emergency Situations of the Capital. The cause of the fire will be established by law enforcement officers.

According to rescuers, on February 7 at 20:48 they received a message about a fire in the Podolsky district on Vasily Porik Avenue, 12.

At the scene, it was found that in one of the apartments on the 2nd floor of a 12-storey residential building a sofa caught fire.

" A man and a woman were handed over to medical specialists. With a preliminary diagnosis of poisoning of combustion products, they were hospitalized. Emu's dog took the daughter of the victims to her. At 21:13 the fire was eliminated, ”the State Emergencies Ministry said.

The fire extinguished 15 rescuers, as well as 4 units of the main and special fire and rescue equipment.
