In Kyiv on Thursday, January 16, during the afternoon, explosions were heard during an air raid. Air raid forces were working on an enemy drone; its debris damaged a car in one of the city districts.
The mayor of the capital, Vitaliy Klitschko, announced this in his Telegram channel.. He urged not to ignore messages about the threat.

Klitschko later clarified that in the Solomensky district of the capital, a fragment of a UAV damaged a car. The engine and part of the car interior were torn apart. There is no fire. There are no casualties yet either. In addition, in the Dnieper region, damage to the facade of the building was discovered - previously due to debris during an air raid when air defense was operating. No casualties.
It is worth adding that on Thursday, January 16, British Prime Minister Keir Starmer arrived in Kyiv with a promise to help ensure the country’s security for a century. He and President Vladimir Zelensky will sign a 100-year partnership agreement in Kyiv.
