The Russian aircraft-carrying cruiser Admiral Kuznetsov will be returned to the Russian Navy at a stated time in 2021, despite the damage sustained as a result of an incident with a floating dock at a ship repair plant in Murmansk on Tuesday night, October 30. This was stated by the head of the United Shipbuilding Corporation (USC) Alexei Rakhmanov.

"There are no threats that could affect the deadlines for the delivery of the ship," he assured.

According to Rakhmanov, as a result of the fall of the crane, the aircraft carrier suffered damage to the board above the waterline, but it is not critical. "There is a torn hole measuring four by five meters. Obviously, when a 70-ton crane falls onto the deck, such damage can occur. We consider all these damages insignificant.. They fit into the normal practice of corpore repair, "said Rakhmanov, adding that USC would sue Rosneft for the amount of damage caused..
