The first on the scene of the incident came patrol. "[the shooter] did not go out first [from the building], and then started point-blank to shoot one of the policemen and tried to fall down. He was put on the spot. The policeman was bleeding in the area of ??the liver (maybe a little lower) and turned off before the ambulance arrived. As a result, the attacker was killed, the policeman was badly wounded and left for the ambulance, and the guard seems to be in consciousness when they were taken ... ", wrote an eyewitness.
As reported by the police, information about the fact that the city council heard shots, entered about 00:37. At the indicated address went patrol patrol. The police saw a wounded guard near the city council building, a man stood next to him, who started shooting at the patrol. One of the bullets wounded a policeman.
As Oleg Bekh, the head of the State Unitary Enterprise in the Kharkov region, reported from the scene, the patrolmen used firearms and neutralized the attacker. Now his personality is being established. As a result of the incident, a guard of the City Council and a policeman were delivered to the hospital with gunshot wounds. Despite the efforts of doctors, the policeman died. Another wounded man is in a stably grave condition.
