In Krivoy Rog on Saturday, May 5, died 67-year-old driver Alexander Volkov, accused of committing an accident, resulting in the death of 11 passengers minibus. The man was transferred to the detention center three days ago, and on Thursday his health deteriorated, Vesti writes..

Volkov was charged with part 3 of Article 286 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. Other road users were not charged.



Recall, in Krivoy Rog at the crossroads of Heroes of the ATU and Metallurgists there was one of the most terrible road accidents in the history of Ukraine. Mazda driver at the intersection did not give way and eventually crashed into a fixed-route taxi No. 261, which at the time was 25 passengers.
