The death of a border guard in the Lviv region on February 22 occurred due to the detonation of the RPG-7V ammunition, which resulted in violation of safety rules by the head of the shooting. This was reported in the press service of the Military Prosecutor's Office of the Lvov Garrison.

"It was established that on February 22, 2018, the head of the shooting of the training center of the STS of Ukraine, in the village of Bolshie Mosty, Lviv region, during the training firing, violating the order and safety equipment during their conduct, exceeded the official authority, which caused the death of the serviceman under the contract of the border guard commandant of the rapid reaction of the cynological training center, "the Prosecutor's Office.

The 36-year-old ensign who was wounded in the head was killed. Death came about 12:30.

On the fact of the incident, the military prosecutor's office started a criminal proceeding under the article about the military official's exceeding the cynological training center of the State Border Service by the military official, which entailed grave consequences and was committed in the conditions of a special period.
