The incident occurred yesterday, January 20, militants in the number of three people attacked a tourist hotel in the country's capital. They shot at guests and staff, and also used grenades. As a result, it was decided to go on storming the hotel building, which lasted several hours.

As a result of the operation, five people died, six more were hospitalized with severe injuries. A total of 150 hotel visitors were successfully evacuated. One foreigner perished, her citizenship is established.

The military in the course of the operation eliminated three militants. However, law enforcement officers remain at a loss how the terrorists managed to bypass the private security of the hotel.
