At the time of the incident, there were 168 people in the Boeing 737-800. Fortunately, none of the passengers were injured.
As the newspaper Daily Sabah reports, the Pegasus airline arrived in Trabzon from Ankara in the afternoon. After landing, he, for reasons unknown so far, rolled out beyond the runway and got stuck in clay on the cliff a few meters from the sea.
The plane stopped literally in tens of meters from the water. If he moved further, the consequences would be much more serious.
On board the plane, panic began, expecting at least 20 minutes, that someone would come to their aid.
The cabin smelled of fuel, so the passengers thought that the plane would explode, but this, fortunately, did not happen, - said one of the passengers after the incident.
At the moment, all 162 passengers and six crew members are evacuated and are safe.
