Well-known professor of forensic medicine Viktor Kolkutin, former head of the Russian Center for Forensic Expertise of the Ministry of Healthcare and Social Development of the Russian Federation, offered his point of view about the sensational conclusion of forensic expert Mikhail Kleimenov. According to the expert, 2.7 per mille is a "convenient" figure for a forensic expert. In this state, an adult can walk, but he can hardly navigate in space, often does not perceive the signals of cars or people screaming. Often, with this level of alcohol concentration, people themselves fall under the car. Kolkutin noted that this figure corresponds to the lower boundary of a heavy degree of intoxication, which means that the blame for an accident can be "dumped" on a pedestrian. If the driver is willing to pay to be "otmazali" from the court, the expert is quite able to turn the victim of the driver into the culprit of the accident. With impunity, this practice could be firmly entrenched in forensic medical examination, Kolkutov. "It can not be ruled out that this situation could have followed this scenario at first, only later it was taken into account that the deceased - a six-year-old child.
I admit that, in many examinations, where Kleimenov had people who died in an accident, the alcohol content in their blood is approximately the same: 2.5-2.8 ppm, "he told the newspaper. RU". According to him, in the case of Alesha Shimko, there could well have been a conspiracy between Kleimenov and a chemical laboratory worker. The forensic expert could ask him to indicate in the conclusion the required indicator, but something went wrong according to plan. So far, Kleimenov was only charged with negligence. Allegedly, due to his mistake, microbes got into the blood samples of the boy, which led to fermentation and, as a result, to the preexisting level of ppm.
Under this article, Kleimenov faces a minimum fine of 120,000 rubles, and a maximum of three months' imprisonment. The investigation into the disgraced forensic medical expert almost ended.
According to the newspaper, the family of Shimko remained dissatisfied with the results of the examination of the Investigative Committee and was going to challenge them. Relatives are sure that their child was made "drunk" not because of negligence, but deliberately.
