As a result of the fire, two people were killed. As the press service of the Main Directorate of the State Service of Ukraine for Emergencies in the region, a fire in the village of Grigorievka Starokonstantinovsky district began about ten hours.

The fire was reported to the rescuers by neighbors, they saw fire and called the State Emergency Service. Already in place of the extinguished fire, firemen found the bodies of a 30-year-old man and a 32-year-old woman with no signs of life. According to rescuers, a possible cause of the fire could be negligence during smoking.

According to the press service of the State Service of Ukraine for Emergencies, rescuers received information about the fire around four o'clock in the afternoon. Local residents of the village of Kamenka in the Popelnyansky district reported that a fire broke out in a private brick apartment building. The smoke coming out of the building was seen by neighbors and phoned the fire department.
