He also assured that in the future the nearby beaches will also be cleared of the consequences of oil leakage.

In turn, the Kuwaiti authorities announced a "crisis management plan". They also explained that the oil slick did not reach the coast of Kuwait and, according to local oil experts, the oil spill occurred near the old 50 km pipeline that leads to the city of Ras Al Khafji.
