In the international operation law enforcement bodies of Ukraine, Poland, Great Britain and Latvia participated.

Four people have already been detained: three Lithuanian citizens and one Ukrainian.

The Ukrainian was the organizer of the criminal channel, and the citizens of Lithuania helped him with the transportation of people abroad.

During the search of houses of suspects, nine illegally trafficked Ukrainians were found. They were planned to be taken to the UK and used for forced manual labor.

Lithuanian law enforcement agencies are conducting an investigation into this case, criminals are threatened with four to twelve years of imprisonment.

Recall, as reported URA-Inform, arrested intruders who kept a 15-year-old in sexual slavery. Criminals, who forcibly kept a minor girl in an apartment, and forced to engage in prostitution, were taken into custody.
