Temporary blackouts of electricity were introduced in the Krasnodar Territory of Russia. Local authorities explain this step by the need to repay the needs of consumers in the annexed Crimea.
The electricity will be cut off from 20:00 to 23:00 for consumers in Novorossiysk, Anapa, Gelendzhik, as well as in the Crimean, Abinsk, Slavic, Krasnoarmeisk, Temryuk districts of the Krasnodar Territory. As stressed, they will be point-like, writes "Medusa".
As explained in the regional ministry of the fuel and energy sector, this measure was introduced on the recommendation of the Ministry of Energy of the Russian Federation "to stabilize power flows, prevent damage to equipment and disrupt the stability of parallel operation with the Unified Energy System of Russia energy system of the Crimean Peninsula".
As it was informed earlier, in the beginning of August the schedule of temporary power outage was introduced in the territory of the annexed Crimea. In the evening of August 6, without electricity on the peninsula, for almost two hours there were 108 thousand people.
In the Crimea and the Krasnodar Territory indicate that due to a strong heat reaching 40 degrees, the consumption of electricity increased sharply, including because of the use of air conditioners.
At the end of July, due to an emergency shutdown in the Krasnodar Territory of the Russian Federation, where electricity is supplied to Crimea, the entire peninsula was left without light for several hours. The cause of the accident of the Ministry of Energy of the Russian Federation was called heat.
The power supply of the annexed Crimea is completely carried out on the energy bridge, laid from the Krasnodar Territory in May 2016. Independently Crimea can provide only 30 percent of the required electricity.
